Parece que os dias do domínio total da SkyNet estão mais próximos do que imaginávamos. Recentemente, você conferiu aqui, no Tecmundo, uma notícia sobre o Carrier IQ, um aplicativo embutido nos celulares que é capaz de verificar tudo o que você faz, mesmo quando está offline.
O espião da Nokia
Agora, começam a surgir mais indícios de seu uso em outras plataformas além do Android. Primeiramente, Trevor Eckhart, responsável pela descoberta do Carrier IQ, comentou que os aparelhos da Nokia também estavam utilizando o aplicativo em seus celulares.
Entretanto, a companhia foi direto ao ponto e respondeu às alegações afirmando que o “Carrier IQ não acompanha nenhum dos produtos da Nokia”, declarando que as afirmações feitas anteriormente eram imprecisas.
Nem a Apple escapa
Outra companhia que também foi investigada por hackers em busca do Carrier IQ é a Apple. O hacker Chpwn, já conhecido no ramo, comentou que havia encontrado indícios do aplicativo no iOS 3.1.3 e também no iOS 5.
Entretanto, após investigações mais aprofundadas, Chpwn relatou que o software pode estar ativo apenas quando o iPhone está no modo Diagnóstico, que é desativado por padrão. Além disso, Chpwn também comentou que os registros feitos pelo Carrier IQ nas plataformas iOS são limitados à apenas ligações e geolocalização — ou seja, nada de coleta de dados referentes a navegação na web, SMS e outros.

Nokia telah resmi dipastika akan benar-benar meluncurkan smartphone Android pada awal 2017, sebagai tanda kembalinya Nokia ke pasar ponsel dunia.
Kepastian ini telah diungkapkan oleh HMD Global, pihak yang kini telah memegang lisensi kekayaan intelektual beserta brand Nokia. HMD akan meluncurkan smartphone Nokia generasi terbaru pada semester pertama 2017 mendatang, seperti dilansir PR Newswire.
Meski belum disebutkan tanggal perilisannya, smartphone Android Nokia ini diduga kuat akan diperkenalkan pada ajang Mobile World Congress (MWC), Februari 2017 di Barcelona.
